Seed bombs are small nuggets of clay, compost, and native seeds that have long been the weapon of choice for guerrilla gardeners seeking to transform underutilized space in the urban landscape into places worth looking at and caring for. The coin-operated Greenaid Vending machine has been making seed bombs more readily accessible to the masses since 2010 with over 150 machines installed strategically across the US and elsewhere.
