ODE TO THE SEA

The sea with its glory and beauty inspires me.

The ever changing faces of the sea, never the same but ever loved if only I were the sea. My many faces would not be scorned but adored and gazed upon. I've heard the sea referred to as such a majestic, life full creature, yet it can take man's most powerful vessels and dash them to piece, swallow and keep them. Of course, the sea lets us find these demolished hasbeens, but never gives them back.

Crashing my organs into a brisk soup of sea. My blood runs blue with its water. Give me a drink of its salty liquid, it will taste like home.

PUMPKINETTES

I have noticed the supermarkets are starting to carry those baby pumpkins! I love those little things! Oohhh! I think I will call them...pumpkinettes. Haha! I am not too taken with the acorn squash or the bumpy gourds. :| I wonder if the pumpkinettes make good pumpkin pie?

THE CURE

FROM THE EDGE OF THE DEEP GREEN SEA

i wish i could just stop
i know another moment will break my heart
too many tears
too many times
too many years i've cried for you
it's always the same
wake up in the rain
head in pain
hung in shame
a different name
same old game
love in vain
and miles and miles and miles and miles and miles
away from home again...
