"With a warm hickory baritone that balances strength with a gentle concern, he draws his listener into the intimate world of an old friend, someone who cares deeply about you and the quality of your life ... and who will always offer a hand when you need it."
I Believe In You by Don Williams
I don’t believe in superstars, organic food and foreign cars
I don’t believe the price of gold, the certainty of growing old
That right is right and left is wrong,
That north and south can’t get along
That east is east and west is west, and being first is always best
But I believe in love
I believe in babies
I believe in Mom and Dad
And I believe in you
I don’t believe that heaven waits for only those who congregate
I like to think of God as love, He’s down below, He’s up above
He’s watching people everywhere, he knows who does and doesn’t care
And I’m an ordinary man, sometimes I wonder who I am
But I believe in love
I believe in music
I believe in magic
And I believe in you
Well I know in all my certainty
What’s goin’ on with you and me
Is a good thing
Its true
I believe in you
I don’t believe virginity is as common as it used to be
In working days and sleeping nights,
that black is black and white is white
That Superman and Robin Hood are still alive in Hollywood
That gasoline’s in short supply, the rising cost of getting by
But I believe in love
I believe in old folks
I believe in children
And I believe in you

"Her expression freezes.
The water-lump is racing for her.
It bolts her upright, out of the
water to her hips, then slams her hard,
whipping her in an upward arc of eight
feet before she is jerked down to her
open mouth. Another jolt to her floating
hair. One hand claws the air, fingers
trying to breathe, then it, too, is sucked
below in a final and terrible jerking
motion. HOLD on the churning froth of
a baby whirl-pool until we are sure it is over."

Turkey Creek Jack Johnson: Why you doin' this, Doc?
Doc Holliday: Because Wyatt Earp is my friend.
Turkey Creek Jack Johnson: Friend? Hell, I got lots of friends.
Doc Holliday: ...I don't.
MS. MARY TRAVERS
With her stature, long, flowing blonde hair and signature bangs, and her arresting and passionate vocal delivery, Mary Travers became an irresistible force in Peter, Paul and Mary’s performances. These performances helped bring the folk scene to the broad American public, ushering in the Folk Renaissance of the 1960s.
"So kiss me and smile for me
Tell me that you'll wait for me
Hold me like you'll never let me go.
I'm leavin' on a jet plane
I don't know when I'll be back again
Oh, babe, I hate to go."

RAINING!!!
I'm Singing In The Rain
Doo-dloo-doo-doo-doo
Doo-dloo-doo-doo-doo-doo
Doo-dloo-doo-doo-doo-doo
Doo-dloo-doo-doo-doo-doo...
I'm singing in the rain
Just singing in the rain
What a glorious feelin'
I'm happy again
I'm laughing at clouds
So dark up above
The sun's in my heart
And I'm ready for love
Let the stormy clouds chase
Everyone from the place
Come on with the rain
I've a smile on my face
I walk down the lane
With a happy refrain
Just singin',
Singin' in the rain
Dancin' in the rain
Dee-ah dee-ah dee-ah
Dee-ah dee-ah dee-ah
I'm happy again!
I'm singin' and dancin' in the rain!
I'm dancin' and singin' in the rain...

OOHHHHHH!!!!
A Virginia boy was rescued on Saturday after being lost in the woods with his puppies for 21 hours. Jaylynn Thorpe, 3, had wandered away from his babysitters house the day prior to go "hunting and fishing," accompanied by his two 12-week-old puppies. "They found him standing; he was wet, but the dogs were with him," said Sarah Ingram, Jaylynn's mother. "I was told that the dogs slept with him. They could tell where they slept in the woods." Ingram said the puppies slept on either side of her son, keeping him warm through the night. After the boy was found, he reportedly ate two double cheeseburgers, a hot dog and strawberry ice cream with three Pepsi-Colas to top it off!

LITTLE APRIL SHOWER
Drip, drip, drop
Little April shower
Beating a tune
As you fall all around
Drip, drip, drop
Little April shower
What can compare
To your beautiful sound
Drip, drip, drop
When the sky is cloudy
Your pretty music
Can brighten the day
Drip, drip, drop
When the sun says howdy
You say goodbye right away
Drip, drip drop
Little April shower
Beating a tune
Ev'rywhere that you fall
Drip, drip drop
Little April shower
I'm getting wet
And I don't care at all
Drip, drop, drip, drop
I'll never be afraid
Of a good little
Gay little
April serenade

Enjoy a truly great American Root Beer recipe, originally crafted by our master brewers during prohibition. This gourmet elixir, brewed with sassafras, vanilla and honey, proved to be a popular alternative for our beer-drinking loyalists both during, and after, the "great dry spell." Our tradition of providing only the highest quality beverages continues today in each bottle that bears our founder's name, Brewmaster Henry Weinhard.
